Just to ponder on..

To some, this is not really a big deal but do you think this has an affect on music education? If so, why? And if not why not? Should teachers be concerned? Like to hear from you.

I don't know exactly what kind of effect this will have on music education per say, but I do think it will effect the way we teach eventually. In today's society it is imperative to have at least a bachelors degree just to pay the bills. That's not even for comfortable living. College is expensive and if these lenders are backing out of student loans the number of high school graduates going on to college will decrease. If this continues on for a long period of time then I feel that the overall quality of life for most in America will lower and the government will have to step in. They may try to figure out a way to get more kids to go to college or they may expect the teachers in high schools to try and accomplish learning that would happen not only in high school but in college too. (cramming them for the work force). I don't know what this will mean, but hopefully the problem is addressed before it becomes a bigger issue.
